Text Revision
Our experienced revisers work in their mother tongues: an important condition for guaranteeing translation service fidelity, precision, and quality.
It is recommended that, once completed and checked, translations be revised. Text revision is performed by a second linguist who compares original and translated texts to EN 15038:2006 standard criteria. Possible omissions and errors are removed at this stage, alongside ensuring terminological consistency and stylistic fidelity.
Text Review
Text review is recommended for closely specialised texts or ones intended for distribution or publication.
When clients require it, a reviewer can conduct a monolingual review to see whether a translation is fit for purpose.
We select editors who specialize in the areas of translations.
Proofreading
Though all texts are spellchecked and double checked by translators, a proofreader can go over them to eliminate subtle spelling and punctuation errors.
